As you are preparing to do the annual spring cleaning in your house, remember clean out your child's drawers and closet as well. This is a great time to weed out all of the outgrown clothing, pajamas, shoes, socks and underwear. You will feel less stressed in the mornings while getting clothes together for your child to wear for the day if you know that everything fits right. If you do not have a younger sibling to pass the outgrown clothes down to, find a friend or another preschool parent that might appreciate them. Another option is to take the best clothing and shoes to a childrens' consignment shop, where you will get cash or a credit to use. Also consider donating to Goodwill or The Mustard Seed charities where your clothing can help out families in need.
